domestic making workshops

hello ya all,
i was thinking, if we call our exhibition 'domestic making' what would be more natural then providing workshops for the visitors in 'domestic making'
so, i think it would be great if you all could bear that in mind and try to come up with workshops to give during the fair days. would be good to present some of those (even as raw ideas) to the curators tomorrow !!!!!!!!

saron and me are gooing to make a small model of the space to present something to the curators ........but i think to make a good expo design ..that works for all the works we need
basic things (practical) what are the messurments of the work .....? is it hanging on the wall etc
and a list of people how are in the dmy expo ......xxx

comment .........the wallpaper looks nice !!!!!idea ......but instead of exsiting wallpaper maby we can make our own wallpaper ...? using the logo of domestic heating system ....?X

i started doing some experiments with wall paper to create layers in the fair domestic site



and in a second thought about the connection between the two locations i was thinking maybe while we are ruining the fair installation maybe we need to build something at the house ?
maybe we could use the movement of people from one to the other to move 'building blocks' (whatever they may be)
any comments ?

Hallo everybody,

Jorge suggested to me if I would like to participate in the dmy-project with my work (un)floor; (the work I showed in Purmerend and with which I haven't been 100% pleased with its execution / presentation there).

Anyway, it seems like it can fit very well in the concept of 'domestic making'. After all a house starts with a floor and the Sandberg floor is a bit upside-down excactly as my work. (sorry... just joking)

But unfortunately, I do not have much time for this project and I would like to make up my mind quite soon, so here is the question:
Does anybody know the actual dimension of the heater?
If I am going to remake + show (un)floor the heater is going to be the reference / relational element to begin from.

Sandberg Institute Applied Art department would like to present:
Domestic Making:
-A reconstruction of a flat based on the HeinzMinki apartments
- Therefore we make use of two locations, the Arena and the HienzMinki apartments ( close to Arena)
-The Berklin Kachelofen will function as a connection element
-The presentation will contain objects and ideas, related to home and daily life
